So exciting.. I went for my NUS interview which by right or left I don't have to go!! All because I filled in an extra section in the application form. Section 8 which tells you to describe yourself etc.. Haha.. And funnily I got shortlisted! Haha..

I went for the interview on Tuesday 26/5.. Hoho.. The interviewers were rather interesting.. I think I got too lor soh at one point such that they had to cut me. So pai seh.. haha.. Anyways, though I'm really worried before that, because it would really mean i have a slimmer chance to get in through that discretionary admission. Guess what.. I received that call for the interview right after a consolidation on trusting in God. So exciting to really trust that God is going to do something good in my life just like He did in Moses' life..

He punished Moses when Moses disobeyed Him by not allowing Him to enter the Promised Land. But at the time of transfiguration, Moses was one of the people whom Jesus was talking to! Meaning, Moses got into the Promised Land in the end though with a different perspective knowing that Jesus is the Saviour.

After learning about that, I thought it's really wonderful to learn about this God whom I can really trust. At the point when Moses was denied the right to enter the Promised Land before he dies, Moses must have felt really dejected and upset because that was the whole focus and purpose when he brought the Israelites out of Egypt.. But in the end.. God still brought him in. That's really wonderful! =)

So whether I get into NUS or not, everything is in God's hands. He will fulfill His wonderful and promising purpose.

i've decided to chong chu jiang hu again!

Been really really really busy.. I went to Perth for a mission trip just a few weeks ago.. sort of miss the peaceful life in Perth but I'm glad i'm back in Singapore anyways! I met a Japanese Christian.. Can you believe it? Japanese Christian.

Japanese.. Christian.. You know it's like about 1% chance that you'll hit a Japanese who's a christian. Her name i shan't reveal it. But i'm really glad to have met this girl. Knowing her is an encouragement to me. I'm encouraged by her faith in God.. I'm still keeping in contact with her through email, so glad that she took the initiative to send me the email.

I was talking to somebody about trusting God. Trusting is like we never have to worry that our parents will not cook for us, or our parents will not let us into the house. That is the kind of trust that we have in God. Trustin that He will still provide for our needs. He will still provide food somehow. Trusting that the sun will still shine on this earth. Some people may call this practising blind faith, or silly. I thought that person gave some illustrations that is very interesting. We never purposely do a test check to see if the chair is working before we sit again, we never deliberately do a test check to see whether our bed will not fail us but we still sleep on it. There is a certain faith that we have. This is how God shows His graciousness in the order of His creation.

Hmm.. Recently, a student whom i've been meeting to help her know God more (she is a non-believer or rather 'was'), gave me a call late at night (not really late tho, about 10 plus close to 11) just to tell me she wans to believe in Jesus Christ. I'm very joyful for what she has said. It meant alot to me when somebody says she wans to accept Jesus Christ as the only solution to her sins. I know it is definitely not my credit to do that, but i thank God for using me to talk to this girl, helping her to know more about God.

Many people believe that God exists, but not many can accept that Christ is the only solution to their sins, the only solution to the problem of death, the only person who is able to let us have a relationship with God again.

Simple words, yet difficult to digest.
God bless.
