Am so stucked with anat chem. Thought I understood the concepts, but when I attempted the calculations, I'm very stuck. 6 more days to anat exam. Argh..
-------------- Back to basics
2Tim 3:16,17 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.
If all scripture is God-breathed, it must be authoritative. If it is authoritative, then why aren't we obeying it?
If it is useful and will thoroughly equip man for every good work, why aren't we spending all our effort and energy studying it but spending so much time on other things, sometimes allowing ourselves to be hindered by other burdens?
Prov 26:17 As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.
We are placed in a community to sharpen one another. How much responsibility do we take to watch out for one another and sharpen each other?
Sharpening involves pain. What a painful process.
I'm kinda guilty of some of these things. Repents. Repenting.
-------------- Heb 12 1Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. 2Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. 3Consider him who endured such opposition from sinful men, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.
The sermon last saturday spoke to me. I was very refreshed by what the speaker said.
I lost focus. Hence the lack of motivation to persevere.
I allowed sin to entangle me, so that I slowed down my pace.
I lost my first love. (Revelations) That I find that whatever I'm doing, it's not for my God who loved me and gave Himself for me.
I was lost. (But now I'm found haha)
I didn't know how to get myself out of that mess, but God knew. I didn't know who'd lift out that hand and help me or even give me a push, but I knew it was in the Lord's hands.
Phew, I'm seeing light.

On a learning-to-give-thanks-note, I give thanks for a friend who remembered me, when I least expect her to, and wrote me an encouragement card and a mushroom-lookalike chocolate to be like supermario. Am thankful how much this friend grew in knowledge after 1 year of knowing the Lord. =)

It's not easy to be a mother I guess. Was calling a girl (shan't specify who) and somehow managed to talk to the mother. She was practically venting her frustrations WITH me. I could sense her worry, and concern for her daughter and her helplessness to do anything seeing the daughter do really silly things. She went to the extent of suggesting committing suicide (guess was really angry that she hurled that) But ya.. I could relate with that seriously. Working with young people makes me feel like a parent to them. The difference is I have the privilege of prayer.
Many times when i worry for my own kids, I'm reminded of how my personnel would be worrying and praying for me. I'd be gripped with their love for me and this spurs me on to do the same as well. I may not like the way they handle it. But recognising that they too are learning as well, I can only be thankful and grateful that they stood through the process with me.
On the other hand, it's not easy to be a child as well. We struggle to put down our pride to apologise. We struggle to fight the rebelliousness in us. But most of the time, we give in to that struggle which lands us in a whole day of naggings and scoldings.
I am struggling and trying to struggle too. Both as the role of a parent and a daughter.

In cellgroup ytd, we discussed that sometimes its harder to relate with your own brothers and sisters. I'm reminded that it's really, truly, only in the Lord when we have the hope that the fellow brother will change, thus we have the courage to go and make peace with the person even though the immediate result may not seem positive. And it's only in the Lord that the person finds courage to put down his pride and love the person who "confronts" him.
It takes time for wounds to be healed. But time doesn't heal wounds.

wahahah.. I can't resist but post more videos of 'em.. Call me a paedophile la.. Momo-chan's singing more parts here cause I think Miyabi's away. Yeah.. She's good! They have good stage presence la.. Risako looks really cute.
Same song. Balloon sounds like Baruun.. wahaha.. Miyabi's purtee.
Their very first live performance. (The height disparity's not so obvious) The youngest is only 9 years old. (Risako- the one who sounds really nervous) think she cried in the end. Miyabi looks too old for her age with the dyed hair.
12th single. Miyabi feels like Eriko in this video.
Ah ting wld love the pv of this song. Quality of this video's horrible. But the angles are done purtily. Kirei deshita!
13th single. Very beauty??! The latest song. Key's very high but very nice! ii desu yo! Caught Miyabi attempting to lip sing at the wrong part. wahaha..
Just realised that in the concert version of gag 100kaibun aishite kudasai, miyabi, known for always forgetting her lines, messed up her part. Chinami was laughing at her and was caught on camera. Spot the error in the previous post. wahaha..
