woke up this morning before daybreak to screamings and shoutings in the house.

not trying to be sarcastic but
I thank God that He enabled me to
be empathetic and listen to the needs of the people who were involved from what they were saying
be calm in not dashing out and joining in the screaming
rmb tt He's still watching and is a sovereign God above all
bow down and acknowledge that He's the only One who can help and soften the "participants"'s hearts.

This mrng's quiet time was refreshing too.
Give tks for the quality time and the 'quiet'ness to hear from Him.

Do spend time with Him. We need it in every moment of our life.

Went for the RBC session 'Making choice choices'. Session no 2's tml (to be accurate today) but I gotta attend a friend's birthday. Hrmph.. You know I've been trying my real best to give people face by attending their birthday celebrations. And I'm going to go alone. With no other friends. The other friend who knows him is not able to make it! Sobs.. but I thot it'd be nice to be exposed to more christian friend's birthdays before I plan mine. (it's a rather big thing when u turn 21, rats I see a TWO)

Anyways, the speaker's Amy Matthews who's like the english version of Yun Qing lao shi. The way she described the episode, causing u to think and feel what is really happening in the bible is amazing. Have been thinking abt Martha and Mary, as I rmb tt I attended a session "In defense of Martha" by Bill Crowder (also an RBC person) in sec 3 i think. But I culdnt understand prob because of his accent then. But now, I see it. I guess I'll summarise what I learn tml. Time ta sleeeepp...

i lost my adaptor in less than a week i bought this pumpkin tree. hrmph.. pumpkin tree refers to my laptop. for interesting reasons i named it so. just like... ying hua cao. sakura and leaves. wahaha.. weiyan was talking abt this.

------
i shared this with my commitee. I thought it'd be good to share this here.

since the planning of the event started, everyday, there'd really be sthg to test my patience. from the really insensitive smses i received on some days, to the happenings in the house. It made me felt tested. finally one day, it bursted.

my dad threw away my treasured "karang guni bag" with lotsa things that I collected for potential future use. You have no idea how mad i was. I literally screamed with all the energy i managed plus all the frustrations i faced for teh past few days before that day. yes i screamed. i was really defeated as it ended with an argument with my dad, and hurts. the process was quite interesting tho. my dad bounced out of bed (it was in teh middle of the night) and tried to defend himself saying he didn't until i told him specifically what was lost. thankfully, he admitted he threw it away sheepishly and apologised. And i thought it was over. I think my mum tried to help me and added a few more words and made him angry and .. pooh!.. you know what happened.

the misunderstanding and the closeness to communicate brought abt so much hurt. it was really bad that i felt as if i was dead, to teh extent of giving up my walk with the Lord. then i was reminded of this verse

Gal2:20
I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I lived by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.

I had no desire nor hope to pray at all. But this verse reminded me and a scene in narnia brought abt peace in my heart. The lion had to die before he resurrect. Likewise, I'd have to "die" before I'd "resurrect"/grow. I.e. I'd have to be constantly crucified (thus it's in present participle) with Christ- i rmbd HL telling me during one of the trials I faced when I was in secondary school. Thankfully, the Lord never left me.

It's at this point in time when I appreciated the Lord's graciousness. hmm.. God's grace comes with knowledge of sin. Indeed, as sin abounds, grace abounds even more.
