Life's still as tiring, for the past one week, I fell aslp without knowing when, and I had to drag myself out of bed at 3am, 4am or 5am in the mrng to switch off the light after realizing that I fell aslp unwittingly.

Entangled brains. Still trying to do sthg abt it k. Hvnt been loading my burdens on the Lord. Will do so ltr.

Shopping for bday present for jibing was really funny. Suying and I were in the shop and discussing how we can play a prank on ppl for Christmas presents and we started laughing in the shop until a sales assistant came by and asked "how can I help u?"
Holarious!

Am doing a material for qt on spiritual warfare. Very enriching. Kay Arthur said, the devil doesn't want us to realize we're fighting a battle so that we won't pick up our spiritual weapons. How smart.

K, off to pick up my weapon.

wahaha.

Back from the camp.

Thanksgiving to God for
Huey who bought me chicken essence to last through
the wonderful time with the kiddos at the camp
wonderful bible sessions by the speakers despite the really scary incidents on the nights with the lifts and the hotel people
growth
energy to continue after the camp today
wonderful session by Chien Chong on the patience of God

During the worship service in the camp, while singing "ni ai yong bu bian", I suddenly remembered what liqun shared just days before the camp,

She said, the question she asked a long a while ago was answered recently during Romans TRAIL, - What if I get into an accident and hit my head and suffer from amnesia and I forget that I'm a Christian?

Rom 8:35
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?

If you forget God, God will not forget you.

How comforting it is to know that. =)

Very tired. Everyday's been a mad rush for me since exams ended. Every morning I wake up early to rush for ministry, trying to finish every bs lesson plans before the lesson itself and do a zillion things.

Sometimes, I'm upset and envious when I look at people who are not as busy.

I shall not forget why I'm serving and remember it is a privilege. =)

I learnt one new thing about my favourite missionary Amy Carmichael! When she was born, she was upset that she had brown eyes unlike her other sisters who had blue eyes. During one occasion when the Indian locals were going to capture all the missionaries there, she had to disguise herself as the people there. That was when she knew why God gave her brown eyes!

Psalm 119
Aleph
1 Blessed are they whose ways are blameless,
who walk according to the law of the LORD.

2 Blessed are they who keep his statutes
and seek him with all their heart.

3 They do nothing wrong;
they walk in his ways.

4 You have laid down precepts
that are to be fully obeyed.

5 Oh, that my ways were steadfast
in obeying your decrees!

6 Then I would not be put to shame
when I consider all your commands.

7 I will praise you with an upright heart
as I learn your righteous laws.

8 I will obey your decrees;
do not utterly forsake me.

Going for bible TRAIL session was really soul-satisfying. Yea and I were saying, we need good "food".

Though it was sessions after sessions, I'm personally ministered. It's good to know and be reminded again of God's wonderful love and grace from His word. The 3 days of drawing nearer to God in the conference was ... soul-satisfying.

I can't describe. I'm refreshed, regenerated for His ministry. His word indeed provides the strength to serve Him.

The kinsman-redeemer part in Ruth reminds me of God's love for us in His salvation plan.

The part on making kingdom prayer by Dr Ryken. Aw, it compelled Christine and I (and many other people I believe) to keep a prayer journal.

And, I was challenged to memorize Psalm 119 by Miss Chan. Let's see who finishes first!

Oh and I said hi to Steve Schoof! He told me two years ago when we went Australia for mission trip that he'd be the speaker this year! And we went,"see you two years later."

Isaiah 50
10 As the rain and the snow
come down from heaven,
and do not return to it
without watering the earth
and making it bud and flourish,
so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater,

11 so is my word that goes out from my mouth:
It will not return to me empty,
but will accomplish what I desire
and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.

An encouraging thing for teachers. Christine and liqun was sharing this with me ytd. Even though sometimes we do not see the growth in a student after teaching them, God'll never let His word return to Him empty. Somehow, the words heard will have an effect on them.

I love the good old days when pals from yfc and I just travel together back home on the train. We just clicked even though all of us come from different churches, different backgrounds and even of different age.

On friday, after bible trail and night trail, we were on the train. We talked all the way from city hall to jurong east about books, other christians and some stars who are Christians. It was really good to have their company.

I'm now sitting at starbucks with Christine right in front of me and liqun beside me. Haha.. And we're going to have a team 1 outing soon! Team 1! That was 3 years ago whn Damien, Yan Zhen, Xiong hai were still around!

Aw, the good old days..

Thank God for everything.

On a faithful day, I went to bukit panjang plaza to study. On my way home, I went to the washroom. Okays, and I thought my phone was with me all the while.

The next day, when I was searching for my phone, remembering that it should be in a pocket of my bag which I always put it, I couldn't find it. I thought I might have taken it out or misplaced it somewhere in my room. After a long while of searching, I realised it was gone. Okays, I wasn't sad at all because it was an old phone. And I was also wondering if it was God's will for me to change phone. Haha..

"The next day" was a very busy day as I had to teach, go meet up with my juniors for gospel opportunities and then go to mag's birthday. And the next day was exams! So I didn't manage to cancel the line or sthg. So I planned in my head on my bed that I'd go and get a new phone after paper before going for night TRAIL (which I so look forward to).

After my exam, I saw Pauline. I was thinking how did she "pass by". Then she said, "you lost your phone right?" I was wondering how she knew. Until she said, the person who found it called me. Wow! I never knew my phone would come back to me. Was just trying to accept the fact that it's gone and thinking how I'd try to retrieve my numbers from other friends and now ...! It was a pleasant surprise. And know what, she's a friend I knew in Jap cls and wouldn't knew my exam dates or time. And, yet she tried all means to search for me. She found out from the NUS web my exam time and date and found out that I was taking my paper that day that's why she came to look for me! I'm so glad and thankful to God for her!

God is so good. I lost my wallet twice in the NUS library and I managed to get it back. I lost my phone in bukit panjang toilet (the person told me she found it there) and I got it back.

God is still good even if I should lose it. But yay!
